Exhibition railway miniature controlled via the Internet, scale of 1:87

The miniature was presented at exhibition Svyaz-Expocomm-2003 held in Moscow’s Expo-center. The installation was used to demonstrate a system of remote control, surveillance and administration, extremely broad in terms of possible areas for its application. The entire complex of items in the miniature — rolling-stock, cross lights, regulated crossings and other infrastructure — is managed with the sole twisted pair. The monitor displays all of the key nodes, as well as the image coming from the camera attached to the model of a locomotive. The equipment could be managed from any Internet access point around the globe.
